Every filmmaker has a "day one." For me, that was at 1st December Films, learning the ropes from Anup J Kat. It was a crash course in how sets actually run, how to think on your feet, and what it takes to build a visual world from scratch. It was the perfect boot camp.

After that, I started a wedding company. I wanted to capture something completely different: real, unscripted human emotions. Shooting weddings forces you to be fast, sharp, and patient. You learn how to catch a story in a single, fleeting glance before it’s gone.

Right now, I’m using those two worlds to direct ad films. I get to take the high production value from my early days and mix it with the honest, human storytelling I learned on my own.

I love the fast pace of commercials, but the end game has always been the same. Every ad, every frame, and every project I tackle right now is a stepping stone toward the ultimate goal: directing feature films.
